Additional Fire Training Opportunities

The York County Fire School supports fire company trainings in and around the area by providing this information.

These courses are not being conducted by the York County Fire School.

If you have any questions concerning any of the courses, contact

Take notice to the DATE, COURSE NAME, & THE LOCATION OF WHERE THE COURSE IS BEING HELD.

Upcoming Training

Each course does require preregistration. Contact the person listed for that course if you are interested in attending.

Basic Vehicle Rescue – Technician: (16 hours, Minimum Age: 18)
This course is intended for personnel who have already have taken BVR-Awareness and BVR-Operations courses in the past. This course gives the student the knowledge of power tool usage and disentanglement techniques. At the end of this course, the student will be able to take the written Basic Vehicle Rescue Technician certification test.
* PA DOH Technician exam will be the week following the last BVR-T class.
